Sturgess Barns are small, converted farm units with a few facilities that address some access needs.
Pre-Arrival
- Bookings can be made by internet, post or phone
- Private car transport is essential due to the rural nature of the barns
- Taxis, buses, coaches and main line trains are available 3 miles away in Warminster
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
- Ample, level car parking on gravelled driveways directly surrounds the barns
Main Entrance & Reception Facilities
- Each barn has more or less level access – 2/3 cm rise – with wide entrance doors – 34cm, 43cm and 43 cm
Laundry
- There is a separate laundry room with level, but slightly restriced, access and top loading washing machine and drier
Outdoor Facilities
- Level grass areas have standard garden chairs and tables during spring/summer/autumn months
Conference & Meeting Rooms, Banqueting, Clubs, Entertainment
- Not applicable
Bedrooms
- All the bedrooms are on the first floors – it is recommended that clients view the photographs on our web site, www.sturgessbarns.co.uk or in the barn leaflet
Bathroom, Shower-room & WC (Ensuite or Shared)
- All bathrooms are on the first floors and all baths/wcs/showers are standard design
- Taps are all lever operated
Self-Catering Kitchen
- The kitchen layouts are standard with no doors on most of the lower cupboards, lever operated taps but some high level shelving
Grounds and Gardens
- Level grass areas have standard garden chairs and tables during spring/summer/autumn months
Additional Information
- Half the internal walls in each of the barns are built of the original old stone and lime mix and could well present dust problems
- The premises are non smoking
- Pets are not allowed
